Overview: Jin Shin Do® can help to relieve tension and stress, reduce pain and discomfort, re-establish the balance of energy between body and mind, and increase client self-awareness. It promotes a pleasant trance-like state in which the client can move out of the head and into the body, to access creative self-healing and release stagnant energy and stress patterns.
Content: Jin Shin Do® combines gentle yet deep finger pressure on acupoints with body focusing techniques to facilitate the release of physical and emotional tensions and armoring. The class will cover release methods for 32 points of common stress, tension, and pain, introduction to body-focusing, segmental release using 45 Jin Shin Do® points and the bodymind associations of the segments, master and couple points, and using contact statements and tracking. It will also include strange flow theory and basic release patterns, and how to combine strange flows with the segments.
Other info: Wear comfortable clothes and bring materials to take notes, if you wish. All other equipment and supplies will be provided. A lunch break will be taken each day; you can bring your lunch or eat at one of the many restaurants located nearby.
